Images from The Race Across America
During the past four weeks since proudly standing on the Finish Stage of Race Across America, the members of Team Suicide Prevention(T803) are still in various stages of processing all that happened during those 7 days, 19 hours, and those important 34 minutes that it took for us to ride our bicycles 3,037 miles across twelve states from Oceanside, California to Annapolis, Maryland. The tireless hours and fatigue that we endured, the tears, the laughter, the fear, the countless moments of sharing our message with spectators and strangers, the countless moments of listening to many of those spectators and strangers share their heart felt stories with us, the quiet moments that we had time to look into our own souls for strength and courage to keep moving forward, the moments when we leaned on a teammates shoulder for the strength to keep moving forward, the sunsets with a long night of riding ahead, the sunrises with a long hot day ahead, the storm clouds, and the glorious scenery from Oceanside, California to Annapolis, Maryland are captured in the two galleries below.
“The Race Across America - The Finish Celebration ” gallery contains images captured during the finish line celebration and the following days after the finish.
“The Race Across America - On the Road” gallery contains images captured in Oceanside prior to the race start on June 19th and along the race route during those 7d 19h 34m of racing.
We hope you enjoy them.
Thanks for your support for Team Suicide Prevention.
